You Don't Need to Figure Everything Out
I’ve been thinking about something we all do.
Trying so hard to be the one who handles everything — the planner, the helper, the fixer, the responsible one, the one who’s got it all together.
Honestly… it’s exhausting.
And the funny thing? Life doesn’t actually need us to try that hard.
In the video I just shared, I talk about this shift from doing to being.
It’s that sweet moment when you stop gripping so tightly and let life move naturally.
For example:
A friend told me she wanted to end something in her life. And instantly her mind went into project-manager mode: How do I end it? What steps do I take? What’s the plan?
But often it’s not about “how.”
It’s about simply noticing the feeling — the sense of something wanting to change — and giving it space to unfold on its own.
Life has a rhythm, and it’s surprisingly good at organizing itself when we stop micromanaging it.
And no, letting go doesn’t mean you’ll suddenly go rogue and break the law or ruin your life.
In fact, the opposite tends to happen:
You become softer, clearer, more loving, and more naturally helpful — without forcing anything or trying to be the “good person.”
I love this line by Anthony de Mello:
“Enlightenment is cooperation with the inevitable.”
Basically: stop fighting what already wants to happen.
So here’s my gentle invite to you:
Relax your shoulders.
Open your metaphorical hands.
Let go of owning every action, every skill, every responsibility.
Let being move you a little more today.
It’s a much nicer way to live. Trust me.
